Computer simulations are a central part of scientific discovery, quickly supplying accurate and easily reproducible results. Our Scientific Computing MSc provides training in state of the art numerical algorithms for linear algebra, differential equations, and optimization. This theory is combined with training in advanced high performance computing languages, such as CUDA, and the latest high performance computing hardware, including GPUs and cloud computing. Theory and software are combined to simulate case studies in molecular dynamics, analysis of social networks, atmospheric and oceanographic waves, and astronomical many body interactions. This training is well suited for a career in a broad range of high tech industries, or in preparation for a research career.
